As we head on through December, with Christmas just around the corner am preparing to wind down for a break. A well earned one at that! Its been an eventful few weeks. Last week saw the opening of The Secret Subterranean Show which was put together and curated by the amazing Anomalous Visuals. The preview evening was sublime and one that I was not really prepared for, in a good way. I had popped down the previous day to test the sound for one of the installations, which sounded pretty special in the space. The guys worked so hard to pull it all together and not without drama, the feedback I have had, had been fantastic and I feel very blessed to be collaborating with such a great bunch of talented folk! Here’s to more collaborations in the future….
On another note there is a rather nice remix out that I did for Theodor Bastard from Russia, which is out this week, with a whole heap of great remixes. So please support this amazing band and dig deep into those pockets and get yourself a copy. http://www.theodorbastard.com/ http://youtu.be/MUKOdZzYXos
I have also set up a collective with two other amazing artists Leslie Deere and Nadine Richardson and here is a link to our new blog: http://coterie-collective.blogspot.com/ so please go check out what we will be up to in the coming months.
Equestrienne Remixes will also be released on CD and will be available from the 20th December 2011 and I will be posting information of where it can be purchased from. It will no doubt be in all the usual online outlets. Thanks to Stephen and Will from Architects and Heroes for their continued support of Neotropic. Hopefully we will continue working together in 2012.
I want to thanks everyone for all their support over this year,….it has been an amazing journey after such a terrible start to 2011. I am looking forward to beginning 2012 feeling much healthier and with renewed vigour!
Happy Holidays to you all and here’s to a bright 2012 for us all!
