As the nights draw in……

The smell of Autumn is in the air, and the horse chestnuts/conkers are carpeting the ground, reminds me of being a small child again filling my pockets with these beautiful smooth brown objects and the smell is just wonderful….

The past few months have been extremely hard after being struck down with an chronic illness. I am hopefully back on the road to recovery and looking forward to getting back into being creative, it is very difficult to work when your energy levels are so low that just walking to the supermarket takes every ounce of strength. It has however made me reevaluate my life and understand that sometimes you need time out and to heal yourself especially after an illness.

So new work in the furnace and looking forward to getting my creative teeth back into writing.
